SEA Games 2011 ada beberapa nomor cabang olahraga (cabor) yang menyisakan masalah karena keterbatasan peminat. Indonesia SEA Games Organizing Committee (Inasoc) juga mempersiapkan regulasi tambahan.

Beberapa nomor cabor itu masih belum memenuhi jumlah kuota untuk bisa dipertandingkan. Untuk mengadakan sebuah nomor SEA Games, paling tidak harus diikuti oleh empat negara peserta.

In earlier, a number of soft tennis women still lack the number of participants. PB Pelti must also be concerned if the numbers are not contested from the SEA Games in 2011 because new only three countries that sign up. Some of it is the host country Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines. They then negotiate to Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, and Timor Leste in order to send a representative to the sport.
